My condolences to the 66, but I gotta say:
Seattle’s Hard Rock Cafe was located mere footsteps from Pike Place Market, and always kicked the Market’s vibe in the nuts. Next to go, I hope, is the frickin’ Target across the street. Such abominations should never have been allowed at the Market.
Kind of bummed just cause that spot had a decent rooftop bar that was cheap and had a killer view. Seems like it was kind of a hidden gem, cause you wouldn’t think to go to Hard Rock Cafe. Also one of the few bars downtown doing regular live music with no cover. Not saying it was a great spot, but I had some good times there. Hope something else cool can take over the space.

Not pretty to look at, but I’ve never felt unsafe downtown. Then again, I’m male and big.
it imposes a $50-$70 uber surcharge for most.
A $50-70 surcharge for driving downtown?
how much is two ubers to go downtown, Doug?
I don’t Uber, so wouldn’t know. It’s no extra charge on my ORCA Card.
may all your transit rides be safe.
Metro is far safer than driving. Fewer worries, too. Random strangers’ vomit on the seat only adds to the charm.
