Everyone please disregard DonaldJMusk, he forgets what account he’s signed in to. The old man thinks I’m out to get him like he’s not mocking me in his profile or anything. This is his sock puppet, one of many keeping the conservative comms astroturfed. Just look how soft he is, watching my voting habits in communities he doesn’t even run. He’ll probably post my vote history off lemvotes.org like I’m somehow denying downvoting this asshole, but I’m getting ahead of myself.

There are still some sensitive mods who can see your vote history (within comms they mod) and ban you because they don’t like the way you interact with their comm. Conservative comms especially, they seem to think they deserve a captive audience.
Also note that anybody can use lemvotes.org to view post/comment/user votes in most cases.
Lemmy doesn’t enforce anything, but there’s no accounting for small people with an ounce of power.
1·25 days agoIf I had to guess that it was anything more than narcissism, and I put on my conspiracy theory cap, I’d bet he wants to look like the victim when Venezuela fights back so he can have expand the border war into a literal war that he can leverage to remain president the rest of his crusty life. But you never know. He’s not smart enough to figure it out on his own.

6·1 month agoIt’s a powerful urge to say “the instincts I feel are not only universally felt by other ‘good’ humans, but also an indicator for truth” like some other ape believing something else won’t make the same claim. It’s an appeal to nature but nature does not give a shit about us. Morally, ethically, our survival. Nature does not define us anymore.

241·2 months agoIsn’t “6 7” supposed to be a rating? Somebody does something and you rate it mid by giving it a 6 or maybe a 7 on a scale of 10. Why on earth would this semantic meaning come from a basketball player’s height?
Why can guns be something that can be responsibly used but AI cannot?
When guns have no legal uses, this is a direction we should go. Until then, this holds people accountable for other people misusing their product.
In a chain of responsibility, the last person who’s accountable should be punished, not the first.
If a child shot themself, I’d blame the parents.
Keep 'em coming. I can do this all day.
We don’t jail gun manufacturers either.
When a tool is used to kill a human, the user of the tool is guilty.
We don’t jail the gun for murder.
What’s with this idea that “video games” is a single skill? I bet his farm layout in Stardew Valley is shit.
