17·1 month agoSame deal with lawyers that go into public interest. It pays super low, compared to corporate and similar that has money to throw at their employees.
And when they hit their end inevitable enshittification, what then?
Do you literally hear yourself? You think large corporate and oligarchs run insurance, tech, etc., is a better route than a public option? 💀 Jeff Bezos, Musk, Thiel, and Ellison for everything?
Large corporations and oligarchs are better? I’ll take the government. At least we can vote on them.
I hope they consider other ways of doing things after this incident.
Why do we place so much reliance on one mega company? This level of importance. It should be seized by the government.

3·4 months agoThe whole system modeled on infinite growth is not sustainable. The population is aging and we’re running out of markets and increased competition abroad. We’ve hit the end of the road for the post WW2 era. The American model in almost every industry just milks and extorts the working class and they are running out. Between big pharma price gouging citizens, banks trying to deregulate, and big tech out of any innovation just making harmful advertising/surveillance capitalism. They are running out of ways to extort and keep maximizing profits without harming citizens. They are trying to seize more control and influence of the government because of this.
The tech giants are just propaganda machines.
