Wait until you have that power and you’re made offers that are hard to resist.

IMO, pop culture can be a great icebreaker, but it’s definitely not essential for building meaningful friendships. I’ve formed friendships with people even when we had no shared (pop) references whatsoever.
In my experience, learning about someone else’s (pop culture or other) interests can be a meaningful way to get to know them better.
At the end of the day, it’s not about which movies someone likes, but the substance of your conversations: empathy, shared experiences, and the trust that comes from opening up, for example.
Just be curious, open, and supportive. The rest will follow.
And hey, your favorite movies will come up eventually. Who knows, you might end up watching something new together.

“Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.”
— Dead Poets Society
Words to live by.

Maybe some deficiency? Get it checked out.
Do you routinely go to bed in time? Is your sleep environment right?
Do you suffer from depression or another disorder? Get help, if you can.
Possibly try to wake up according to your natural sleep cycle.
Are you on medication that could cause issues?
So many possibilities. A professional might be able to help best.
Probably somewhat true.
The full truth? It was a shart.

Find reasons to agree with someone. Things like “You are so right”, “I never thought of that”, " I loved the way you put that", “I remember what you said x days/weeks/years ago; it still makes me smile/encourages me”…
Few things are as uplifting as making someone else feel special. Be genuine about it and the recipients day (or more) will brighten.

Billy Idol - Dancing with Myself Loneliness masked as liberation.
Bulletproof - La Roux Emotional numbness disguised as empowerment
Some Linkin Park songs (Bleed it out, Up from the Bottom, etc.)
There’s so many such songs…

It’s about the cold war paranoia. Sound is all synth pop upbeat, though.
The English version is called “99 Red Balloons”.

Totally agree. Such awesome writing!

Games:
Movies (this list I had to think about for a while…):
Books:
Edit: spelling

Too many to list.
Bonus:
“The Unbound will never be slaves again.”
“Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer.”
Honourable mention: “I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee.”

Both. The remastered is essentially the same. They took some mechanics from HW2 and used them in the HW1 remaster. Like the auto-collection. Bothers me somewhat, but I figure it’s because of the new engine.
But generally they’re the old games with polish.
That said, Cataclysm just hit different. What a game!

Resolve to do better next time.
“Hey, how are you?” with a smile usually works. Even with your ex who you had a sinful breakup with. Sure, takes some courage, but it’s kind and leaves everyone ok and open for whenever we run into each other again.

Some hurdles are so hard to overcome, I tend to give up at one point.

No Man’s Sky. Keeps drawing me in.
Homeworld 1, 2, Cataclysm. Forget the latest one.
Need for Speed Most Wanted.
Horizon 1 & 2
So many more…

Really wish they would have extended that game. So much potential and then they seemed to have given up.
I really enjoy Tauon.
