Are you trying to say that the Canadian citizens stuck in Gaza are somehow more special than the other citizens?
Yes! At least they are to me as a Canadian citizen. Not more important in human terms, but definitely more of interest to me to see how Canadians in a war zone are dealt with by our government.
Controversial opinion, but I’m going to back your comment and add that when they’re talking about Canadian citizens, they’re talking about white citizens. The worst terrorist attack in Canada happened in the 1980s on a foreign soil in Ireland, and no one remembers them. Why? Because a bunch of brown people died.
