    Or a discreet state agency paying to undermine the defense of a nation. All signs point to Russia paying for these bribes since they’ve shown they can’t compete on the battlefield.

      Maybe Ukrainian people just don’t want to die and sold their possessions for money? I have a very hard time believing that every person in Ukraine is willing to fight on the front line.

          Considering how Eastern Europe is, 10k is probably the base price which can be negotiated down to whatever a person can actually afford to pay. The officer still makes money.
