Three classic Call of Duty titles—Call of Duty + United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare—have recently appeared on the Microsoft Store for PC. I’m pretty sure that there are serious vulnerabilities in the netcode of the original MW that makes playing it online on PC unsafe. I haven’t ever seen an authoritative source confirm it however the last time I tried to play it online probably 4 years ago. There were all sorts of malicious redirects when trying to join servers from the browser
Sorry, I was referring to the remaster being on deep discount. I only ever played the original on xbox. Good to know that the PC version may be compromised.
