Seeing the current upvotes is nice, but being able to see both the upvotes and downvotes separately is also a great feature! So far, every implementation I’ve seen so far has only had one or the other. It would be awesome if it was at least an option in settings to choose or better yet, you could see both

I believe it also depends on your instance. For example; Lemmy.one disables downvotes entirely. There are some good arguments for this approach, such as not allowing people to downvote something they may disagree with, yet may be something that’s valid or factual and should not be buried.
I mean I can see that argument but imo an upvote system is worthless without a downvote system or at least it’s not as useful. It’s less of a voting system if you can’t downvote

So does Memmy. But my preference lies with Mlem, personally
