Teens can unwittingly purchase altnoid vapes from gas stations, smoke shops, instagram, and more.
Buying boof vapes poise a much higher risk than other fake “marijuanas”.
To anyone dabbling in that lifestyle, it is not worth it. Only trust legal dispensaries. On the black/grey markets, you could be inhaling heavy metals, solvents, toxins, and other things you shouldn’t be vaporizing into your lungs.
You only get one pair of lungs, take care of them, lung damage is permanent. Vaping unregulated oils can risk things such as, chest pain, chemical burns, diminished breathing, headaches, lipoid pneumonia, collapsed lung.
It is possible to buy both fake packaging, and prefilled vapes in fake packaging from China.
If that’s not an option, look into making your own distillate. It’s cheaper and cleaner, it tastes better, and you don’t support terrible practices.

There are a few issues with edibles:
- Onset time
- Type of high is different (more body than head)
- Not everyone has the enzyme to process edibles
- Vapor taste is part of the experience

- Good quality shampoo and bodywash, feels good, smells good, lasts longer
- Beard butter, wax or oil, take care of your beard, make it softer, and smell good
- Nice everyday cologne
- Hikes
- Bikes
Some things to consider
For battery powered:
Tinymight 2 is my current favorite vape for its size, speed, power, ecosystem. I can use it with my water pipe and rip it like a bong, or hit it dry through a j hook, etc. There is a very small learning curve.
Mighty+ is a good session vape that is consistent and reliable. There is no learning curve. You need to be ready to commit to 3 minute session of slowly sipping on it. It is a great vape as a session vape, but if you’re looking to take a hit or two do stuff for a few hours and repeat, TM2 all the way. It’s large, but that’s because it has 2 batteries and a screen. The crafty+ is the little sibling with one battery, no screen.
POTV Xmax v3 is okay for the price point, but if you spend a little more, you can get a better class vape. This sits in my drawer, but I might take it out for biking because i don’t care if it breaks.
Dynavap is worth a mention as a cheap analog vape that can make huge clouds. There is also a huge ecosystem for it, and it’s interoperable with some other vapes ecosystems.
