Agreed. You can’t argue with how effective it’s been for the country as a whole, but I don’t think i’d rather live there as an individual.

People will find ways to accrue wealth and power even if you change the rules of the game. Sometimes people on this platform make it sound like socialism or communism can solve our problems. but it’s not that simple.
I admit that I’m skeptical since everyone is a node. It probably is fine, but I don’t know the risks that I take by volunteering as a node. I thought that VPNs can be fine as long as they don’t store logs, but I could be mistaken.
Maybe it’s a skill issue, but this game was Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 for me. I think I played it on the second easiest difficulty. On higher difficulties, the enemies move much faster and do more damage, and you start to realize how inaccurate the guns are. On top of that, the weapons are projectile weapons, so you’re aiming inaccurate and slow projectiles at stormtroopers shuffling left and right rapidly. I think it’s much more fun to just play on the first or second difficulty.
I don’t know if there is an all inclusive list for all major religions, but hebcal.com has a detailed calendar for Judaism. Not everything on the calendar requires Jews to take time off of work, so further research may be required to get the exact list that you’re looking for. It does give some explanation of each holiday on the site though.
I don’t think that Early Access is meant to convey a specific stage of development. That’s probably why they opted to use that instead of alpha/beta. Maybe developers should be required to disclose their plans between now and release, but I don’t feel that an arbitrary time limit is fair.
Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, but Vangers is a game that uses voxels AFAIK.
Not every enterprise runs crowdstrike, so it’s not Microsoft’s fault. I was having trouble finding out what happened because our computers were working normally, lol. The XKCD comic tipped me off.
Van Gogh enthusiasts are outraged.
I remember hearing that money is n issue since it has some copy protection features, but your butt? What’s wrong with that? (Other than sitting on a piece of electronic equipment, lol.)
I’m tempted to give this a try. I already am really happy with my VPN and password manager, but it looks like you can subscribe to mail/calendar for a reasonable price. If I did that and drive, I’d rely on Google a lot less.
I don’t hate characters for being evil in fiction. Evil characters can be super entertaining. The game of thrones books really captured this potential IMO. A character being annoying to the reader/viewer directly impedes with you enjoying the show.
This guy in the comments.
This is a beautiful game. The OST and visuals are amazing, and the movement is pretty fun as well. I remember playing a couple of times with one person through the whole game. Once was one of my first few runs, and the last was a white robe who showed me where all the collectibles are.
He’s right you know. Scrapers and journalists will simultaneously know and respect the fact that he is not in the US, nor does he allow them to use his content without adherence to the license that he tacked on. I mean who would do that? And if they do? Oh boy they’ll be in trouble. Cory Doctorow will probably fire on them from his balloon or something. It’ll be glorious.
I’d bring an amateur radio. Fun device that gives you access to an alternate method of communication. They’re old fashioned, but amateur radio gets used here and there in emergencies. I think it’s more of a precautionary thing from a practical perspective, but it’s still cool.
You can test drive the car before you buy though. I did some months ago, though I didn’t end up buying it.
Granted, you don’t try the exact vehicle that you’ll be buying. You used to be able to return the vehicle within 7 days, but it looks like they canceled that policy.
I might be more inclined to agree if there was some benefit to having him show up in person, but I don’t see why he can’t just attend this remotely. People get sick after being vaccinated too. Maybe is a minimal risk, but it seems like a pointless risk nonetheless.
I’m really lucky that I didn’t cave in and watch any videos at first. (I think I watched the game’s version of a tutorial, but that was it.) Its fantastic.
I don’t know if billionaires are the product of capitalism per se. Billionaires are people who have found out how to exploit the current system the best. In a socialistic society there are plenty of opportunities for corruption and exploitation of the working class. The rules are just a bit different. Billionaires definitely will defend capitalism since it’s how they’re currently winning the game, but they’ll adapt as soon as they need to as well. That or the winners will be a different group of people. Either way, the most powerful will always look for ways to consolidate even more power.
