I wouldn’t. I despise artificial time limits in a game just because… there’s no point other then to put in paywalls for extort money from the players

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•At which point do you see someone as a friend and what conditions do you have?
1·13 days agoyeah I just did a quality over quantity check recently … can guarantee there’s no quantity, and realized that quality also don’t exist, zero reciprocating conversations, zero starting dialogue unless I initiate it by bringing up their interests. their interests are the only topics of conversation and it’s literally dead silence when I attempt to discuss my life enjoyments or humerus topics. used to really stress me out and upset me thinking of it. glad I discovered Stoic philosophy as it helped me reanalyse and put things into perspective and also pushed some bad thoughts into the 'dont stress about what you cant control’s category. just making the hard decision right now on if I just sever the ties that only I keep pushing for.
just glad my mom’s still around and I have 2 pets that require my assistance, otherwise… well, yeah… totally alone.

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•What are you pirating for christmas?English
11·28 days agoI personally haven’t found much. I always gravitate back to movies like battle royal, death note etc… best western movie I love watching is short circuit.
another poster gave some euro recommendations I will be checking out. I’m not against media movies or whatever, just none of them are interesting. it’s all the same general premise for me.
I guess the last tv show I liked was that superhero one with the wrestling guy. cena was his name I think. it was edgy and pushed boundaries. I appreciate that.

2·28 days agopirating isn’t even stealing, since nothing is actually lost. only potentials which were never gonna happen from me anyways.
I assume the downvotes are because of the movies/tv shows and I quazi insulted things people embassy enjoy.
to be fair, the best movies I’ve s een and do rewatch, are movies from countries not western.
my top 2 movies are Battle Royal, and Death Note (the human one, not the animes). subtitles are 100% fine with me. the. along came that hunger games thing and people went wild, meanwhile I found it bleh and rewatched battle royal again, and again and again. I do like movies, just VERY little past 2010.
I will for sure checking your movie recommendations, I’m not against movies and such just everything ‘western’ is bleh…it’s all the same vibes every single time.
these days, all my media is from small content creators or Indy devs. I pirate way less then I ever have and buy almost everything. I have no objection to pirating since it’s not technically theft, but I do want Indy devs to be appreciated so I buy.
I’d say the biggest studio/dev I buy from is Team17. never seen a game I didn’t really enjoy by them. simple, nothing predatory and fun.

1614·28 days agoprobably nothing. AAA games are not worth the bandwidth, even free.
haven’t watched a movie in years because it’s all garbage.
tv shows are even worse then movies.
I just don’t consume media anymore. it’s all slop. I only support Indy developers by buying now, and watch streamers talk and play games. that’s it. they deserve my money, and my attention. not companies.

101·29 days agomost of the reason I’m cancelling … beyond sick of hearing some random bullshit I didn’t ask for, nor want to hear. Everytime some trash pops on, I close the app before it’s even close to done playing the song… I boot up vlc player on my phone and load my mp3s like it’s the 2000s…
just reconfigured my audio on Linux, and have been essentially ripping songs from Spotify nonstop. once I’m done with the obscure music I can’t find elsewhere, Spotify will be officially dead to me.

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Anti-AI folks are making a huge mistake out of fear. And the consequence for them and their families is serfdom.
81·1 month agoyou assume it’s fear …
AI answers and results, ALWAYS need double checking because it lies, gives false I formation, pulls random bullshit sources from. shitty blogs that also lie, things change and it pulls the old information then trys to double down by saying it’s sorry, and how we are wrong…
it’s not fear at all, ai is inherently stupid because it’s sources are also stupid.
yeah but now it’s gonna have some rotten apple stains all over it
