Just wanted to comment that I don’t know how many people are willing to download that app or your video file to review. The link says the preview is unavailable and can’t be played on the browser. I’m on mobile if that helps.
I hope you get the feedback you’re looking for!
I’m just learning about Pixelfed from your comment. Any suggestions on where to start or instances to subscribe to?
Are you also on iPhone? I have the same issue. They’ve always been like this for me.
Out of curiosity, what would make someone’s financial situation too complex for YNAB? I understand if you don’t want to share
I’ve found that the best way to get through it is to move through that range of motion more often, unloaded. Stretch, do a handful of air squats, then do them again later, then again later. Not saying you have to work out, but moving thorough it and exposure will help.
Edit: also drinking lots of water will help.
Yoga will definitely help with your lifts. It can be excellent for your off days of training to have longer yoga sessions (maybe go to a class at your gym?). I started doing Yoga with Adrienne (YouTube) in the mornings and find it really helps loosen me up and start my day with some nice intention.
Do you switch up your run routes at all? I get the same way after running on the same bike path a few times. Changing the scene could be helpful. Maybe a trail run if you only run on pavement, or driving to a destination for a scenic run.
Thanks for the update! It’s cool to see this level of transparency.
We’ll look for these!
Not sure if all tofu is this way but the package we have is (if memory serves correctly) 8 grams of protein and 4 grams of fat per serving. If I need a little more than 40g of protein per meal, relying on tofu would put my fat intake over the edge. I could curb this by taking some fat out of my morning smoothie or post workout snack, but an even intake of fat help me stay satiated throughout the day (and keeps me from snacking).
Sweet! Thanks for this detailed response. I learned about vegetarian complete proteins when I visited Mesa Verde, the indigenous people would combine corn and black beans to get complete proteins. I appreciate the resources!
Thanks! I train 5 days/week. This reminds me of a scene in Mean Girls
We’re mostly just interested in getting a no meat dinner once per week to shake things up a bit. We eat plenty of fish, beef, chicken, eggs throughout the week. We love beans!
The immediate move to turn off the body camera after saying those terrible things is an admission it’s own way and speaks to the character of this person when they think no one can hold them accountable.
Abs are made in the kitchen. If you’re looking for aesthetics, you need to look first at your nutrition. If you want equipment free core focused workouts, check out some Pilates or yoga apps or YouTube content.
Thanks for linking this! That’s cool to see that it’s an effective deterrent, but also looks like it might not change the behavior of long term users.
However, there is a striking lack of evidence about the impact of increasing cigarette prices on smoking behavior in heavy/long-term smokers, persons with a dual diagnosis and Aboriginals
I’d love to know how affective those preventative taxes are for reducing consumption. Same thing happened with tobacco products across the country and now people are still using tobacco at high rates but just complaining about the cost.
This really has more to do with hobbiest cycling culture than anything else. It in no way benefits performance. The inflammation alcohol causes is enough of a reason not to, especially in a sport where body weight is so important. I’ve read in the past that the effects that alcohol has on your recovery is significant enough that you’re better off not working out prior to a night out on the town. I will admit that I can’t find the that research now, so take it for what you will.
Oh I see, I’m not familiar with Sync. Do you use that outside of browsing Lemmy?
