Not here to argue, but you’re not going to like my take.
If you don’t think people with conflicting beliefs should be here you’re building an echo chamber and you’re obstructing the ability to make change.
It takes conversation from people on both sides of the topic to reach common ground.
Here, as an avid Linux lover who knows how to shut up about it let me explain to you what went wrong here.
Nobody asked.
You remember how we used to make fun of vegans because they would insert it into every possible conversation as if it were some sort of badge of honor they needed to flex? Yeah. That’s what Linux users are becoming. Tech vegans.
This platform is wonderful but the people on it circle jerk politics and aren’t open to discussion. The community has dramatically shifted left. We’re very far from the center now.
Came for the platform, considering leaving for the people.
