It was on archive org and it was already taken down. Only a matter of time for Patreon as well.
Edit, the link changed. Here’s his Archive page with all the his work: https://archive.org/details/@infidelity
You’ll have to make a recording or something, not about to sign up for this
Don’t forget DVD playback. Most people by the year 2000 still only had VHS. DVD players were prohibitively expensive at the time so a lot of people were holding out. PS2 had DVD and cost about half the price of dedicated players. I know a lot of homes bought them purely as a movie machine.
I bet if Dreamcast had DVD playback the history of the Dreamcast would’ve been very different.
Holy shit, yes. That’s a game I haven’t thought about in a while.
Just using Letterboxd decade filters gives a pretty good snapshot of the great cinema from each decade.
Yea I’ve looked at this stuff before. Usually the outages aren’t that long, more of an annoyance than a problem. I’ve got some UPSs around the house to keep the tech gear going, just looking for a cheap solution to the noise machine shutting off
Yea I’ve got some Cyberpower UPSs for bigger equipment but it seemed like overkill to add a $100 battery to a $20 noise machine. Plus they’re actually pretty noisy on battery mode (they buzz)
Yea I think this is the way to go. I’ve got some Cyberpower UPSs around the house for tech equipment but even with the beeping muted they’re still pretty noisy (like a buzzing). Looks like these mini ones might be the way to go.
The opening scene of Kong Skull Island is my go to for showing off sound gear. It starts with silence, then a plane going overhead and a fist fight, then a big bassy monkey.
Oddly the TV show Bodkin on Netflix really used the surrounds. I don’t know if it’s Atmos but whoever did the mix really loved to utilize all the sound channels.
Check out the app Yuka (I assume it’s also on iOS). You can scan the bar codes of food and body products to get the health score and warnings.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Yea I found this jarring. The show starts with him having a legion suicide bomber kids and wants us to sympathize with him by the end of the season.
Trent Reznor even said it’s no longer his (Trent’s) song
Fight Club. Even the author preferred some of the changes made for the movie.
It’s all cosmetic
Don’t know about your answer specially but can get EV conversion kits that provide the hardware to turn older cars into EVs. Of course you really have to know what you’re doing or know someone who does and the kits themselves are often as expensive as mid range vehicles.
Looks like you can’t self host it right now?
I was curious so I gave it a spin. It’s just a literal port that runs in an snes emulator. It’s got a super nintendo logo at the start but everything else appears to just be a 1:1 port. Not sure the value in this but would be cool if someone used this as a base to update the assets.
