We played it at a friend (well, he played and we watched) back in… 2018? Or maybe 19?

Long story short, I try to forget it to experience it again later in 2030.

I’ve come to the point where at least some people come to me for advice on buying electronics.

Girl friend asked me for a TV to connect with her PlayStation, not that expensive, 4K/60 and low input delay for casual gaming, and it should last for at least 10 years and should be cheap. Long story short, I got her a 4K/60fps TV with a gaming mode that has like 2~3ms delay for € 550. It‘s a dumb Philips TV running Linux, so no google play and you can remove all spyware. It has apps, but she got the PS to do all of this anyway.

I don’t quite think that there’s a name for this genre (yet?) but I’ll take this opportunity to blast out my favorite story-focused game serieses

Xenoblade is a nice fantasy RPG if you really like Storytelling! And all 3 core games are available on Switch!

Generally speaking, Xenogears and Xenosaga have amazing stories too, but Xenoblade got translated and dubbed waaaay better

Edit: just thought of this the last couple of minutes, and, if there was a name for this genre, it would spoil the whole game/movie/book for you! Imagine watching Planet of the Apes for the first time (it’s old by now and I hope there’s no one here who didn’t watch it already) and exactly knowing what planet it is

I want her to make more than I do. Like a lot of more money than I do.

I like to keep the house clean because I have high cleaning standards, so I have it clean before the women even think about cleaning, washing the clothes, etc. I even love cooking, I consider it a hobby, but a woman that works less and does less in the household than I do is nothing more than work for me, worse than a child. And her making more money than I kind of justifies to me that she doesn’t need to do anything in the household.

Oh! And she needs to tell me at least sometimes what she wants to eat.

Oh, and she gotta be okay with me not being able to be happy or sad for her, it’s nothing personal, just a thing about being on the psychopath spectrum lol

• 1 finger swipe left/right = back/forward
• 2 Finger swipe left/right = switch between desktops

No. You only have left click. In the settings you can make right side = right click and left side = left click. You can’t even click left + right at the same time.

But it’s innovative!

I know it’s garbage, but its sole purpose is to be used by the left hand while the right is doing numpad stuff - and I’ve tried alternatives :(

If I’m doing a lot of work on the numpad side I prefer to keep the right hand there and use the mouse with the left hand.

It’s a pretty nieche use case

Wow! This bears a striking similarity to some apocrypha (idk the plural). Where Nephilim (like Moses or Noah - don’t remember who, but it was the one who was very very old and had many kids with a young woman - was supposed to be one) are mentioned, giants, half-gods. And in order to be wiped off the face of earth, “the one and only” flooded the planet, but Noah built the ark and survived.

It is. It also is the best thing to find something on Reddit. And as much as I hate what it has become, it still is the best source of information. But this changes rapidly, sadly. I give it until 2027, then the information on Reddit is garbage too.

It’s a completely new app. Looks different, it acts different, the gestures are different, some icons (like editing) look different.

There’s customization options, this requires work, and no, you can not customize it the way it was.
