I just want to say I get where you’re coming from. It sounds similar to the way people say “fairy folk” which I assume is why you mention mythical creatures. I guess a lot of people in this thread are less familiar with that usage.
Like most other languages, I only learned the swear words.
Consequences and revenge are not the same thing. If he doesn’t receive the direct consequences of his actions, he will not learn that he shouldn’t do that. Clearly he is incapable of learning via polite means. You are not the only person he’s doing this to, and it is not acceptable.
Are you in the US? You might want to check out the eurovision song contest. I’ve become familiar with a lot more new music that way.
Two words: Pinocchio nipples
I went on a caribbean cruise with my family when I was 12 in the 90s. I was old enough to appreciate and remember some things, but I imagine it’s better as an adult. I wouldn’t mind doing an Alaskan or European cruise.
I just finished reading The Last One by Will Dean, the fictional story of a woman who wakes up on a cruise boat to find everyone has disappeared. I hated the ending, but if anyone is interested in luxury boat-realted horror, you might be into it.
Your definition of value does not match theirs.
Bring them to where you get your eyes done. They’ll probably be willing to adjust for you. Hell, I’ve gotten them adjusted at the Walmart opticians, and I’ve never paid for services there.

Not a logical fallacy in itself, but related: the principle of charity
In philosophy and rhetoric, the principle of charity or charitable interpretation requires interpreting a speaker’s statements in the most rational way possible and, in the case of any argument, considering its best, strongest possible interpretation.
People typically do the opposite, assuming the worst possible interpretation of others’ arguments. I wish this principle was taught in schools.
This is really cool, thanks for sharing.
Depends on hair type. Conditioner can be heavy on baby fine hair. I almost never condition my chicken feathers.
