Even if most of Europe is party to war, there will still be a front line and limited deep strikes. You don’t just have continent wide war with no place to flee to.

I was more thinking about where you as friends and share things about your life, rather than message boards with strangers.

Hmm, happy to say that I can’t relate.

I’ve always been on the introverted side and with a few social activities per week I’m pretty much maxed out all the time.

Mostly do walk and talk out in the city, maybe stopping somewhere to enjoy a coffee on the terrace. Still making new friends, but now more through kid and dog, rather than school. Keeping in touch and even rekindling some older friendships. There are also a few former colleagues I will meet up with from time to time and additionally my wife’s friends.

Now, in my mid thirties, I’ve even started with a small tabletop gaming gang.

Haven’t been active on social media for nearly 15 years…

Designing exactly what you need and printing it for pocket change is amazing.

Grew up in the US. Heard one girl mention it was gross (she didn’t see mine) and one see it for the first time as was more curious. Never bullied but I also wasn’t swinging my dick out in the open.

Live in Europe now where the script would very much be flipped.

My wife stopped reading a book half way since she’s pregnant and could not get comfortable while holding the book. Five minutes later I had a downloaded copy loaded onto her eReader and she could continue lying down.

The average American is living paycheck to paycheck with bad, high interest debt and killer monthly minimums. Many people roll their underwater car loan into a new underwater car loan. The housing market is taking a turn.

People are mostly broke.

Vanilla factorio had me at “just one last thing” until dawn numerous times.

I had an old housemate who lost his very lenient student job due to being late and missing work multiple times due to the game.
