No, because the women would be at an unfair physical disadvantage in most sports.
I watched the speed rock climbing (sorry, don’t know the official name) during the Olympics. The fastest woman was amazing, she flew up the wall in about 6.75 seconds, and beat her nearest competitor by over a second to win the gold. The fastest man was nearly 2 seconds faster again with his competitors not far behind. If the women competed with the men, the female gold medal winner wouldn’t even be on the podium.
I’m pretty sure this was in the book of revelations.
As an atheist I believe Jesus existed, I just don’t think he was the son of god or that he was resurrected.
It would have been far easier to start a religion around a real man with actual followers than if he was a figment of someone’s imagination.
We can all throw shit at Reddit together.
I’ve got an iPhone 13.
I used to upgrade about every 2 years because that’s how long my contract was and there was usually some killer feature I wanted. Now, new releases only have incremental improvements so I’m not in any hurry to buy a new phone.
I’ll probably keep this phone for another year or 2 as there is nothing wrong with it, even the battery life is still great.
So I’d say iPhone sales are “collapsing” because of a lack of innovation in the market, cost of living pressures, and handset durability, they just last longer.
Unless your ISP is running a cloud service, it wouldn’t be their problem. AWS, Azure, Google etc would be the ones hit with stronger identification requirements.
Ludicrous. If we were in a simulation we’d be erased by now because they would’ve done a factory reset and started again.
The A-Team theme.
You need to check out from the news, if reading what is happening in the world has that big of an impact on your mental health then you’re better off staying ignorant.
As long as I have been a live there has been multiple threats to the world, this is nothing new. The world is always on the brink of destruction, worry about what you can control in your life, not what is happening on the other side of the world that you can’t control.
Op was so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.
You’re kidding right? The company made $89.5 billion revenue in the quarter to September 2023. If they’re on the decline it will probably take a few hundred years to show.
They could lose billions behind the couch each year and it would be a rounding error on their bottom line.
Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press.
In Australia, for a public school student, the school provides a list of pencils, pens, glue etc the child will need for the year. You can choose to buy it from wherever but there are school suppliers that will provide everything in a pack for a fee and deliver it to your door.
There is no expectation that the teacher would pay for anything out of their pocket.

I’m 51, I grew up with media fear mongering of the Cold War, the hole in the ozone layer and AIDS. I don’t think there has ever been a period in my life where there hasn’t been a threat in some form or another, and I sleep like a baby. We aren’t going backwards, it’s just another day at the office.
If you find yourself worrying about events on the other side of the world then you need to switch off the news and focus on what you can control in your own life. Sure, WW3 could be around the corner, Covid 2 Electric Boogaloo could be more lethal or the icebergs could melt, but we can’t do a goddamn thing about it, so what is worrying going to accomplish?
Worry about paying the mortgage, making sure your family are fed, and stay safe.
This. There will always be new things to learn or new students to teach. It’s a time capsule, it will never be covered up and should never be covered up.
I think we are past the tipping point now, it’s downhill from here and what we do to reduce carbon emissions will only determine how fast we go down that hill.
