I’m picturing this thing literally on your nightstand. Please tell me I’m right.

In the short term, sure… But the reason its like this in the first place is because everyone takes the stance of not rocking the boat. I say throw em overboard.
And shit we’ve all been there, I had a coworker say some vile shit around me before and just let it slide because its easier. I’m in a different position these days and find keeping things secret / quiet only allows these issues to fester.
report them to HR for racist comments in the workplace.
report them for sexual harassment.
3 & 4) especially 4 just report to HR for having too many political comments on the floor.
All the stuff you listed is inappropriate and contributing the drama. You report it so that you can say “I’ve already made it known I’m not trying to have these conversations with you, please stop” and when they don’t you go back to step one till they get fired.
The alternative is to learn to accept your coworkers as they are, unprofessional or not, and not let their bullshit irritate you so much.
Not saying which is correct, but you have options.
Idk who some of those people are but the one pointing to Costco isn’t the CEO of Costco…neither is the one pointing to Koch. Zoom in.
Yeah I mean, I didn’t say to gloat / flaunt. You can do what I suggested without making others feel small. False modesty is exactly what we are avoiding…genuine modesty is absolutely fine to run alongside my comment about being right sized and is the perfect antitode to the concern you started your post with.
And tbh the right sized thing has less to do with looks / status / wealth and more to do with how we see ourselves when doing a self assessment of character traits.
You’re fine, glad you got something out of it. It was told to me by someone who helped me through a pivotal time; happy to pass it on.
Humility is about being right sized. A lot of folks take this idea of humility as needing to lessen oneself for the sake of being “humble” when really we should be representing ourselves clearly and as objectively as possible.
The game is free…if they want to monetize it in a way that does not affect the f2p experience, who cares?
I do agree with your point about the stash tabs basically being price of entry to really play the game, assuming you want to delve into endgame… still tho, they go on sale often and you really only need a few of the special tabs unless you are really blasting, and in that scenario you can easily make the argument that a power poe gamer gets their moneys worth of enjoyment each league and really wants to support the game financially.
Did it ever occur to you that the writers of that show saw the horrors and apathy of the world and tried to shape a generation. The goal wasn’t to teach us how to exist in the world we have but to create a more wholesome one.
Why the extra snark? This person is asking a question. Easy to argue that he is trying to learn more about networking, why ostracize?
Yup why both both
And I’m on matrix too, but I’m just an individual. If I were trying to advertise my project I’d probably use discord / reddit as well tbh
Matrix is cool but its user base is not there yet.
Seriously… and oftentimes just combining both works better. “Hey sorry I’m late, I appreciate you all being patient” or “Hope that all makes sense, but please feel free to ask any questions if they come up”
Dude OP isn’t even mortal at this point; he has ascended to godhood. That compressor sound and ice dropping into the plastic basket only powers him up.
