  • They aren’t going about this in a way that stops this from happening is the problem. You’re so wrapped up in the Zionist narrative that they’ve tricked you into thinking extermination is the final solution.

Britain didn’t get rid of the IRA by bombing and blockading Ireland. There was no ground invasion despite thousands dying in bombings and other violence.

The fact is that the attack in October and others like it happen because the extreme Zionists like Likud have taken steps to ensure this. Because they’re creating a situation where they can be horrifically brutal but hide behind good pr narratives. They literally propped up Hamas at its inception with the stated goal of fracturing Fatah which was a moderate party suing for a two state solution.

As long as Israel keeps killing Palestinians in the West Bank where there IS NO HAMAS, they will keep driving support for any group that resists Israel.

You can get far more innocent civilians on your side if you treat them better than Hamas. Knowing everything we know about how Hamas treats them should tell you just how bad Israel treats them on top of that.

You stop this by removing the war mongers from power first and foremost. As long as Netanyahu’s party has control there can never be peace. Because like Hamas, they want a one state solution too.

  • They show restraint because they know good pr keeps the foreign investment flowing like a river. It’s so disingenuous to view this conflict in a vacuum with no larger geopolitical aspects to consider.

Sure they could act like Russia is in Ukraine but that’s not how you get your genocide while the world shrugs their shoulders. Don’t be so painfully naive.

Also it’s interesting that your recollection of events starts AFTER the Naqba where Israeli settlers drove Palestinians from their home. Everyone acting like there’s only one group driving hostilities always has an obnoxiously one sided understanding of the provocations that happened.

And as a final note, Israel is held to a higher standard because it hasn’t been rendered destitute by a stronger power. It’s the imbalance of power that makes the position popular. Just like cops should be held to a higher standard than citizens, Supreme Court judges over political pundits, and soldiers over non combatants. The stronger force has the most responsibility to go for peace because their power grants them the most ability to do so.

  • Israel outguns them by an almost unfathomable degree. Getting upset that they aren’t fighting a conventional war against a military that gets trillions from overseas is naive.

Just cut to the chase and tell them to kill themselves.

Also, do you think IDF soldiers killing kids and journalists and Israeli settlers killing and displacing citizens in the West Bank (a location with marginal Hamas influence) might have something to do with why certain Palestinians might hate Israel? Or are you plugging your ears and insisting it’s just because they’re Muslim?
