I’m pretty sure it was Venture on an Atari.
Malt vinegar or that pepper sauce from steak n shake. Well the generic from the grocery store, but it’s the same thing.
What type of society do you think would allow you to burn other people to death and string up their corpses? Is it one that you think would be an improvement over modern China?
I’m not familiar with most of these but I drove 2 hours to see Jukebox the Ghost play in the second story of a church when I was like 19, and Stars is probably my number one favorite band, so I may have to check out some of your other entries here.
Edit: The Jukebox the Ghost show was really cool btw, they wouldn’t let them do an encore in the upstairs part of the venue but they agreed to let the keyboardist do a solo encore on the church’s organ on the first floor.
Really makes Boris Johnson sabotaging those earlier peace talks look like it’s responsible for a bunch of death and destruction and nothing else huh.
If you’re concerned about talking heads putting a spin on something, maybe you’d like to see some on the ground reporting from within southern Gaza?
https://twitter.com/CGTNOfficial/status/1713229280874803382
Warning, I guess, it’s CGTN, but the reporter is in front of a hospital in Gaza and discusses what she’s seeing (and you see with your own eyes) for about 10 minutes.
Researchers examined the median home prices last year for roughly 575 U.S. counties and found that home prices in 99% of those areas are beyond the reach of the average income earner, who makes $71,214 a year, according to ATTOM.
This sounds like they compared the national mean income to local median home prices which honestly probably makes 99% too generous, it’s probably closer to 100% unless the article is explaining what they did poorly.
The lowest cost of living areas are going to be the ones where these houses are most affordable but they’re also lower income areas normally and a normal person isn’t pulling 71k a year in middle of nowhere Tennessee or whatever.
Wait, so your ideal is instead of negotiations, in the same vein as Afghanistan, Ukraine experiences this horrible war for another 9 years and then becomes a state ruled by the fighters involved in the war with the most extremist far right ideology rule it as a theocracy? To be clear that ideology in this case is Nazism.
You don’t sound like an ally of the Ukrainian people.
Cannot wait to see how well this comment ages. All the Hexabear stuff is just comedy gold in the long run. Thank you for spending your life force creating it.
Can’t imagine thinking commentary, wrong or right, about brutal trench warfare, could be comedy gold.
The edit was to edit the number of people Iranian police killed during the Jina Ahmini protests
Nah, you’re lying. I do specifically remember you comparing official execution numbers of Iran, Saudi Arabia and America (~600, ~100, and 18, respectively) to try to make it sound like the US was less murderous. I don’t know why you’re doing this but you’re being dishonest in a way that both paints the US to look less violent than it’s foreign enemies (and it’s allies too, as long as their foreign enough. They’re certainly not as bad as Iran though, right?) and then obfuscates the fact that you’re doing that and I don’t know why a multiple year old Hexbear account would do that but I do remember the general thrust of the original comment.
EDIT: actually I was wrong, we can confirm that you’re lying, look at this quote from GarbageShoot’s response to you
For instance: In 2022, Iran had minimum 596 executions (likely more), Saudi Arabia had 146, the US had 18,
Well you edited your original response right after seeing this but your original comment talked about how the US only killed 18 people last year but these foreign countries in the middle east were more violent and killed hundreds, and how, even if you include police brutality this still “stands true.”
It’s hard for me to include your exact words since you took steps to obscure them but I think if you’re honest with yourself you can admit you were downplaying the violence committed by the US on its populace relative to Iran.
Even if you include ‘killed by police’ (or, in some cases, killed by militia) this stands true.
US pigs killed nearly 1100 people in 2022 and we’re not even getting into all the social murder committed by our for profit medical and housing industries. I can’t believe I’m seeing this whitewashing of American government malfeasance from a Hexbear user.
If you don’t want to talk to someone from Hexbear don’t reply to someone from Hexbear’d comments for a start.
Of course since you’re not OP it’s really not your place anyways to say which instances can and can’t respond to them.
The 2019 language law has carve outs for English, and national minority languages that are EU languages. Russian, Belarusian and Yiddish specifically don’t get exempted.
Tulsi Gabbard is actually a member of a fringe cult that schismed of off the Hare Krishnas, she and her weird cultist dad have switched parties a few times to try to maneuver themselves into positions of political power to advance the cults material interests and ideology. They’re super anti-LGBT and anti-Muslim.
She’s also an intelligence officer in the US military.
An incredibly untrustworthy person.
I’d never considered this, but of course it came down to economics- weird how often massive crimes against humanity come down to some bourgeois thief wanting to take more for themselves and willing to do anything to do it.
Just did a little reading on it, they stole 400 million (1942) dollars worth of farmland from Japanese-Americans, which is like 7 billion adjusted for inflation, and basically just gave them to agribusiness corporations.
Yeah, clearcut good is when a government starts building monuments to Holocaust perpetrators, and banning minority languages including Yiddish, followed by a decade of bombing ethnic minorities in a border region.
I pretty much always go ibuprofen, but aspirin is fine.
I’m pretty sure acetaminophen is snake oil though (this is a joke but I can’t recall ever having it resolve a headache for me like ibuprofen does).
