  • In communist Poland some things you could only hear and record live, because that was harder for censors to stop. Even then there were censors backstage crossing out forbidden lyrics from the sets. However they would often get ignored as an act of defiance, especially at punk rock concerts.

But there was no way to officialy distribute these kinds of materials and doing so could land you in jail.

So unless you had some kind of underground source, your best bet would be to go to a concert and record it.

  • I played through it, it was so so. The edgy, crass 2000s pop-culture humor really isn’t my thing. It seems that they were trying to be more “adult” but it comes off as very juvenile. Aside from that, it’s an average platformer in the classic Rare style, but quite dumbed down compared to Banjo-kazooie. Also there’s too many gimmicky minigames.

Imo it’s not a bad game - just a mediocre one, especially from such an incredible studio. But it had a long and troubled development, so that excuses it a little.

  • It would be from a financial standpoint. Changing a standard this widely implemented is very costly.

Why change it if they’re compatible anyways? Most devices in the eu are designed to accomodate both, its just a question of the earth pin being different.

I’ve travelled all across europe, coming from a country with the french style outlets. I never had any problems connecting anything except for Switzerland and Italy, because they stuck to their own (inferior) standard thats not compatible with anything else.
