Not exactly op’s scenario but I had a client once who was a landlord. I was delivering some papers for him to sign off on some stuff, and he had me come into his kitchen to go over them. On his dining room table was piles of cash, like a foot tall, at least 200 stacks. Had to be hundreds of thousands of dollars. He casually walks past the table and throws a sheet over the money like “nothing to see here.” Years later I read he got busted with several hundred pounds of drugs and illegal guns, so guy was into some pretty bad shit.

I have a somewhat skewed perspective on this. I get the hate for large corporate stores like Walmart and Amazon, but as someone who can’t drive due to being legally blind, both companies have given me a level of independence I’ve never had before. Before grocery delivery became widespread due to Walmart+, I had to take a cab to and from the store (extra $30 each way plus tips). I remember reaching out to a locally owned grocery store 20 years ago and asked if they would be willing to deliver weekly groceries for a monthly fee. I was told in no uncertain terms to go fuck myself, they literally laughed at me. Times change though, and now I can get everything I want or need for a fraction what it used to cost even with inflation. I can also shop more confidently since I can see the products better and get more info about them online then in a store.

Faith and Religion are two different things. Yes, I think the world would be far better without Religion. But faith gives people strength to overcome challenges that otherwise may destroy them. Faith doesn’t require you pay anything, money, time, etc into it. Faith is a personal thing between that one person and whatever they happen to put the faith into. Faith doesn’t require you to kill someone else because they don’t share that faith. Faith doesn’t require you study some fairy tale written by storytellers thousands of years ago. Religion is the opposite of all that, and for it’s survival requires you to spread the virus by any means necessary.

Yeah same. Myself and at least a dozen friends have been using them for at least a decade with zero issues. Guess we are just lucky.

I’ve seen some people don’t like them, not 100% why, but I have had pretty good luck with IPTorrents. I also use Blutopia sometimes.

I don’t know about the payment method, but I’ve had pretty good luck with Hetzner’s auction servers. I’m currently running an Intel Core i7-8700, 14TB HDD Space, and 128GB RAM. for about $42 US. I run Swizzin for ruTorrent, JellyFin, and NaviDrive. Even run a game server manager called AMP outside Swizzin to spin up Minecraft, Palworld, or almost any Steam game with a dedicated server. Have the occasional lag issue with the game servers, but works fairly well most of the time.
