I’m good friends with the lead singer of a band who has 225 monthly listeners on Spotify, which is pretty good considering they are in Cambodia.

For what I get, yea it’s pretty cheap. I’ve gotten probably 500 hours plus of playtime with them, and the only issues have been the little mesh screen falling out, and then not shutting down all the to me after I lost one. For $80 CAD there aren’t many other good options, plus I was able to support someone who’s content I consume all the time. Better option than Marshmallow earbuds or monster at that price point.
I’ve heard that before, but it honestly seems like an urban legend. I’m sure there are lemons for sure, but I can’t really find anything that proves they are rebrands (or point you towards the original).
I’ll get shit on for this but my Raycons lasted me a super long time, I had the mesh screens fall out pretty early on but didn’t notice any change. They were only like $80 or something using a YouTubers code. I actually lost one of the earbuds somehow and I’m probably going to buy a new pair.
I use them all the time for running, and sweat like I have a glandular problem. I would have to sometimes bump them in a little bit, but they would never actually fall out. It just changed the way I heard music in one ear.
Thank you
My brother is in the ICU right now, and everything is being co-ordinated on Facebook. It’s how we are letting people know updates, and how we get a hold of people.
Facebook is really the only social media platform that lets you find people somewhat easily from their name.
Catch 22. You can’t remodel a mall into houses because you need a mall for everyone to go to.
I mean, greed is what is killing our society.
But specifically about malls; I was a manager at a big department store inside a mall for a couples years. The year before COVID, the mall switched to a new renting model that was ridiculous. I can’t remember the exact details, but the price per square foot went up substantially for smaller stores. Later that year I remember having to do rounds of the mall to report to corporate how many stores were closing.
There was a comic where they were fighting, and Batman dropped a pellet of knockout gas then got Hulk winded so that he had to breathe in the gas.
He also has some suits that would help, like the Anti-Predator armour or Justice Buster armour.
ML is also a measure of volume, which is what the measuring cups can measure. It’s not the 100% best method, but you will get comparable results. Again, I highly doubt anyone here could taste two recipes where the only difference is the use of a scale.
….you do realize that they are still called ‘measuring cups’ in other countries right? They aren’t called ‘measuring 250 grams’.
Then you live in a fantasy lane and need to realize that the majority of the world doesn’t live in the same world as you. Have you also never seen a check engine light in a car?
Scales are non essential tools that cost $20 or more, sure they do make things accurate but i honestly doubt you can tell if something your eating was cooked using measurements from a scale or with Betty Crocker measuring cups that are $3.
I didn’t say the volume was different? I said the containers are different making it more difficult to get the proper volume of dry goods. You can’t flatten off 1 cup of flour that’s measured in a 2 cup measuring cup.
It gets the job done, and is a lot easier for most people(plus most kitchens don’t have a scale). Don’t gatekeep cooking
You should use a scale, but most kitchens don’t have a scale in them. I wasn’t trying to make things more difficult with my reply.
No worries! For cooking it wouldn’t be a big issue either way, but when it comes to baking you want to be precise.
They are different though! The glass measuring cup is for liquid and the ones that nestle into each other are for dry ingredients. You need to fill the little ‘1 cup’ dry measuring cup to the brim with ingredients to get an accurate measurement, which is pretty much impossible with the glass wet measuring cups.
When you are measuring dry ingredients, you can fill the same cup with more flour or whatever depending on how you fill it as well, but with liquid it’s, well, fluid.
So, you can measure wet ingredients in the dry ingredients cup, but not the other way around.
That would have been so helpful. Instead we burned through both of our mobile data so she could do meetings in the early morning, and would head the the library after to get everything else done (including anything we needed to look up because our data was over haha).
This makes me happy I never got to play Tarkov.
