Bad idea to buy a gaming laptop when you already had a Series X. I upgraded from my Xbox One to a laptop instead since it was only about $300 more for a quality laptop. I know the “but a desktop is better!!!” line, but I do not have the space for a desktop + monitor.

Also, why do you think you need a wired controller? I currently use a wired-only 3rd party Xbox controller because I hate batteries but in the past I could use my normal Xbox controller wirelessly just fine.

I mean I played Apex at the time. Ping remained at 40-50 towards the nearest server. Probably says more about the state of the infrastructure though.

Edit: Distance to server was about 1k miles for reference.

I was concerned about latency too but no difference and I’ve had it for I think a year now. Legitimately the best value for decent internet in my area.

Consider how limited our time is and if you really want to spend it on “garbage”.

Oh absolutely, still in agreement with you. I just thought they were outright stealing your money. Time is still valuable. I don’t think a balloon ride might be a guarantee though, just the nature of it. Hope you guys find a way!

That still doesn’t make any fairer. OP expects a service for their money. If there happens to be bad weather, it’s not right for the company “sorry, too windy, come again another time with more money”.

The first 10 minutes is quite depressing since you witness the ol’ bomb drops. Then a massacre takes place in middle of the episode. I didn’t find Breaking Bad depressing but it’s definitely not The Boys tier.
