apologies for the off topic, but this thread shows as 11 hours old and I only see 7 top level comments. for a major event mega thread I expected much more and I’m wondering if I’m doing Lemmy wrong somehow?

this take kinda ignores the large number of people and places that do not have that option. it’s not up to consumers to stop driving. infrastructure has to come first in more than just major cities.
I’m seeing double here. 4 krusties!
exactly what kind of life do you think average innocent citizens of an apartheid state deserve?
the most intelligent posture is surely to take the side of the oppressed and the innocent which obviously will include a great deal of both Palestinian and Israeli human beings.
I’m so confused. it was a dance music festival with civilians. are they not allowed to have those? I fully support liberating Palestine. I also think Israelis should be able to have music festivals where people feel good about themselves while having a good time. what’s wrong with that?
guess you haven’t seen this yet
I support the innocent and the oppressed. turns out that includes Palestinians and Israelis.
a decentralized system NECESSARILY has these challenges. it’s a feature not a bug. if you want it to be easy then go back to Reddit where it doesn’t work for different reasons. this will never be that so either you accept this and learn or put up with spez type bullshit.
with the amount of garbage takes I’ve seen from you, I would hope the irony isn’t completely lost. try taking your own pathetic advice.
