This happened in January of this year. Not the story you mention, but it seems to be happening a bit.

I was in a serious car accident in 2008 in my BMW ($30k in car damage, $185k in medical bills) and when I got out of the car and called 911, they told me that the car had already called them and they were on the way. It’s 15 years later and most cars STILL don’t have this feature, so it’s great to have something that does. It will and has saved lives.
I’ve had 10 BMWs in the last 20 years and I’ve never had any issues, and I have a great service advisor.
BMWs wireless chargers are terrible. I had one in my previous one and all it did was make my iPhone hot. I didn’t order it in my current BMW. That’s pretty much the consensus on the BMW forums too.
Edit: I’m wondering if it’s the heat these things produce while charging. They’re supposedly a software fix coming, but mine gets pretty hot sometimes while I’m using it and charging at the same time .
Most American grocery chains are enjoying record profits, they’re complicit.
Driving home drunk one night while in college, my brother decided to drive straight, instead of slowing to take the 45° right turn. Soon after the town put up very large, reflective arrows pointing out the turn. He survived, though his Camaro did not.
My brother in-law lost his dog to these damn toads so he did the same, probably shot about 30 of them, all in his backyard.
I would’ve gotten away with it, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!
I, random internet stranger, was a featured extra on an episode of America’s Most Wanted in 1988 (I can not find the episode online though). There’s 1 for ya.
I follow Christian via iMessage, he’s home and got a lot of great feedback on the trip home to continue developing Juno (while working on his other projects).
