Suicide Squad had a pretty cool trailer. It was so popular they gave the movie edit over to the studio that made the trailer.

The last time I went to McDonald’s all the kiosks printed blank receipts. No one knew what number they were.

I only use black santas for decoration. I don’t buy into religion, but if I’m going to decorate my house with images of a saint I’m not going to let them white wash him. He was probably middle eastern, but it’s more likely he was black than he was a white dude.

But there are other arguments against ai besides consumption of resources. The front facing LLMs are just the pitch. The police state is becoming more oppressive using AI tracking and identification. The military using AI to remote control drones and weapon systems is downright distopian. It feels like they’re trying to flatten the arguments against AI into only an environmental issue, making it easier to dismiss especially among the population that doesn’t give a shit about the environment.

That’s not just true of those two things though. I’m looking for a tie that binds them together while excluding other terms. If it’s an analogy what is the analogy?

Stop trying to make AI Vegan work. It’s never going to stick. AFAIK this term is less than a week old and smuggly expecting everyone to have already assimilated it is bad enough, but it’s a shit descriptor that is trading in right leaning hatred of ‘woke’ and vegans are just a scape goat to you.

Explain how AI haters or doubters cross over with Veganism at all as a comparison?

That sounds like piracy with extra steps.

It works in the same way that you could pay someone to clean your house. While you’re paying them they can do a bad or good job, but when you stop paying them your house will be dirty again soon.

Mine is Deep Space 9! I should rewatch voyager. I watched it as a kid on TV but I don’t remember much.

The disorder we see isn’t proof that the world is doomed. It’s proof that those old bastards don’t have the reigns like they used to. They’re cracking down not because they have unending strength, but unending fear.

His biggest mistake is always making a product that exists, and therefore can be measured against the insane promises he made about said product. He’s much better at that.

I use my impression of him as my customer service voice. The old ladies love it.
