Cant remember the last time I remember a dream, even when I was young, Id get maybe one dream every few months.
Id love to hear about this risk management plan and about how much of the 280 billion gets divested in it, if any.
I don’t think countries will hesitate as much as you think…
There are 280million dollars worth of trans national investments between just the US and Australia. The US is the number 1 foreign investor in the Australian economy by a lot. I think you over value what politicians say and undervalue what they do.
My bed. Im not depressed when I’m asleep.
I dont really think an ally of America that has almost 300 billion dollars tied up in trans-national investments is going to accept a refugee from America because they can’t just take one without acknowledgeding the same violence threatens the entire lgbtq commubity as well as all the women who live in abortion ban states, and soon enough anyone in an inter racial marrige. Australia least of all, the immigration laws there are tight.
Have you seen Australias immigration policy? If hes got a disability, hes probably already denied. And how many of Americas allies do you think are going to start accepting refugees from the US? They wouldn’t risk the optics of it.
Trump could die tomorrow and fascism would still be a rising problem in the US from citizens hunting FEMA responders, to elected officials like Paxton and DeSantis. Unless you consider actual fascism normal there will be no normalcy for decades in the US. Maybe longer if we don’t stamp out the fash.
“I think you dropped this” and its just a big dollop of Vaseline right on the handle
Id do nothing for as long as I could, only way for me to fight the burnout. Most weekends I can just about fit enough nothing time to soothe the tism enough get my necessary self and house upkeep chores done. Every time I get a 3 day weekend, I find myself productive as hell on the third day. Otherwise I need to catch up on my nothing.
Not today CIA
Rivals of Aether 2, they did a week long open beta a little over a week ago, and they release fully today. Finally happy to play a damn good mechanically involved platform fighter far away from the legal clutches of Nintendo. Other than that ive been dipping my toes into Throne and Liberty.
My first thought was if they’re asking for this officially, they’ve piloted some version of it unofficially.
At best the opposite of everything there would be a good start but much of it isn’t really reversible. You don’t need to worry about specifics if you’re trying to break things, but we do when we try to build. I can ruin a snowman just by raising the temperture, but I cannot build a snowman just by lowering it.
When social workers intervene in situations like this the practice is called ‘Crisis Intervention’ so depsite harsh sounding conotations I believe this meets crisis criteria.
I feel like the dirty little secret at the core of the whole of that advertising industry is that it’s actually really hard to justify spending the amount of money on it that people currently do. Beyone when products are white washing their own downsides, is spending more money on marketers even productive by capitals standards? They chase these data driven privacy monstrosities the same way websites chase clicks becase they can be used as a meteic to show advertisers ‘"engagement’" but how much of this whole song and dance is doing anything anymore? I feel like the advertising industry only survives the way it does today because it asserts itself as important but it hardly productive.
Some do, I don’t think so though.
And if you don’t live in a swing state your vote doesn’t matter enough for any party to try and sabatoge voting efforts. If this is Democracy then democracy doesn’t work.
Only one guy was doing the drop box thing and you can recast a mail ballot if you need to. If the crazies try to attack your polling place on election day, you’re probably not getting your vote in on time at all. Also USPS doesn’t lay a finger on ballots dropped in the ballot box, they only carry mail ballots that are mailed instead of dropped off.
