Its a war I don’t know what the fuck you want
Did you see the early days, or even as reddit was “maturing”? Shit went down every other day

The optimist in me thinks those 83 want them to have a seat so they can keep conversation open and help them be more self aware on what they are doing
Well, we definitely didn’t give them the option to keep their homes that they got kicked out of
Not sure what will work for you, but I lost 40lbs by riding my bike 12 hours per week, and cutting processed sugar from my diet.
Now I’ve moved on to hypertrophy lifting with Caroline Girvan 5 days per week, and riding bike 6-8 hours per week. I’ve gained 5 lbs back, but its muscle and is fine.
Also, oatmeal with a fruit (either blueberries, strawberries, banana, or raspberries) in it every morning for breakfast
You need both. Just dieting will lose muscle mass as well as fat, resulting in lower metabolism. You’ll then gain weight again, diet again, losing even more muscle mass. Years of this will leave you in a really bad state. Lift weights, and eat a healthy diet that fuels your muscle.
I think op should be asking “how do I weight train as an overweight person with bad knees?”
Holy shit never expected to see this comment on lemmy. I worked on magma in the early days of it
Yea I’m less into the competitive aspect more into the community. People who race just really love riding their bikes. I like office park crits more than anything just because it has a grassroots feel, and you’re always racing the same people so it’s really just an excuse to get together. I’ll average 14-16 on commutes nowdays because I’m not on an aggressive bike and don’t have my aero kit on and stuff, so don’t feel like you’re doing bad. I don’t like going over like 35, it’s scary… 45 is pretty insane
Same! It eventually led to racing, which has opened up a fun new world I didn’t know existed.
Before covid I remember thinking averaging 20mph on my 10 mile commute was impossible, i was struggling to hit 19. A couple weeks ago I averaged over 21mph for 100 miles.
Tetris Effect is great, really immersive in VR
They can sleep in your bed, and you can feed them like a bird / Alicia Silverstone
Lol not sure why you’re downvoted, it’s a legit concern. Running a lemmy instance is a lot more work than “just set it up once”
We are comparing foreign government to a domestic corporation
A company based in the country of operation is incentivized for that country to be financially successful. A foreign government isn’t, unless it’s to their advantage. I’m not afraid of foreign interference, but I think there’s aligned goals in supporting a company in your own country. I agree influence could happen both in and out of the countries, and all sides of the political spectrum
I’m not a huge fan of leading questiond, maybe just say the point you’re trying to make?
I’ve worked for major social media companies for a majority of my career and understand the impacts they can have, I can assure you my concerns are healthy
Appreciate the description. Whats your take on why only hexbear users are replying to me?
Have you used TreeStyleTab? I’m wondering how it compares with Sidebery
