1·13 days agoSearch is really useless and made even worse by federation never working as intended (even after subscribing), just try any of the Misskey forks and you will see what I mean. There are too many things to list.

The idea of people viewing the whole ActivityPub protocol’s potential through the deliberately stripped down and self-sabotaging platform of default Mastodon is still so sad to me
You’re not breaking the fourth wall, this is not a parasocial interaction either or whatever new term people get attached to, this is not “tapping the glass”, this is just interacting online.
