That parrot’s just resting
I think in life we struggle so much to survive and to care for those we love, and when people we love die it is very difficult. I think most people probably have a natural sense of right and wrong in regards to treatment of the dead. I don’t know that this is a continuation of a person’s right to governance over their body, I think it’s more of a general reverence for life and death that we all experience. I’m surprised to learn that in California where I live human remains are treated like any other property.
Wow that’s a good looking dog
It’s difficult to compete with Chinese companies that operate at a loss and are subsidized by the Chinese government.
That’s a quote from a Navalny supporter. The report said Putin wasn’t involved in the timing of Navalny’s death, not that he didn’t have a part in the planning
Wow 🙂🙂❤️
They can fix it easily with dental bonding. It’s like enamel, a really hard resin or something. I wouldn’t worry.
He lifts fake weights, sort of ingenious and misleading to people https://youtu.be/VDWoHOaupcc?si=hqbTef6JkVXor_HT
Yeah there’s no law preventing it but you wouldn’t have the ability to write a check or to send money by Zelle, as an example. You would need someone outside the jail to make those payments on your behalf.
Edit: I wonder why people are downvoting me. When someone is arrested and put in jail they just can’t do normal things. Maybe some people eventually get computer access in prison but realistically you couldn’t depend on it
There’s a video (below) where they make rice crispies with sawdust as an added ingredient. Like 10-30% sawdust was fine and just affected the texture. It wasn’t until 50% sawdust that they tasted bad. https://youtu.be/AKDal51f5LU?si=79LBDaYnRmLa1cSn
Another day on the job, comrades
I was like 25 when I found out it was wheelbarrow and not wheelbarrel
The United States has been overthrowing democratically elected governments for a hundred years. The CIA has exported terrorism, trained gorilla soldiers to terrorize and torture civilians, and promoted fascism over democracy. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_involvement_in_regime_change
We have a war on drugs that is really a war on people, an excuse to target people of color. We have a for profit prison system run by private corporations that lobby politicians in what is effectively legal bribery. Our entire economic system, capitalism, allows those with wealth to exploit those without, and to use their power and money to “lobby” politicians. People are never going to get a fair shake.
Edit: The US has amazing people and so much potential to survive and overcome our problems, but there’s a darkness that motivates people in power, maybe it’s fear of communism or fear of powerlessness, idk
Body soap for men should be okay to wash your hands with but body soap for women won’t work since it’s formulated for women.
In capitalism people are called consumers. This is the working class, people who make up society. Families and communities. But to capitalists we are consumers. Capitalism doesn’t meet the needs of people, it exploits people for profit. Looking at people as “consumers” is not a great way to see people.
Someone I knew really abused it and would say things on Facebook like “Peasants are everywhere, acting like fools, SMH. Keep your head up, Queen”
People have suggested to me to watch in my first language and put subtitles in the language I’m learning. It works pretty good
