Tile or concrete floors, hard surface walls, glass windows all reflect sound. As people start talking, if they are drinking they get louder, so then each table is trying to talk over the tables around them. Without acoustic damping, it can get pretty loud.
Some years back I was introduced to the CuloClean (https://culoclean.com/) - a side squirting cap that fits most any narrow plastic bottle, e.g. dish soap bottles. Super portable, I take it camping.
I have my own clinic. I work 6 hour shifts. Healthcare doesn’t have to be like this.
Shifts are generally 12 hours. However, it’s pretty common to have a case come in at 11:30, and one is on that case till it’s done. So 13-14 hour shifts are not uncommon.
