  • And it was the most obvious ending that everyone had guessed sitting int their couch with friends or family that didn’t even need internet theories. They made it sound like they had such a clever ending and it wasn’t even close.

I think it’s incredibly likely they had no idea how to end it until they had to do a last season and they went with the most obvious ending that was deeply unsatisfying.

  • As a 48 year old expecting his first child, I can confirm that you will always look back and think this and I’m certain I will again in the future.

OP, don’t rush to make these decisions even if there is a good chance that you won’t change your mind. There are medicines that are very close (or maybe available now?) that will achieve some of the same benefits without surgery. There might be a smarter choice for you if you take your time with this decision.

  • But you could do this with every story/movie trope that’s been repeated throughout our species history. The concept of retelling stories in different contexts is itself not new but for sure reason Avatar gets overly criticised for it.

You don’t see the same criticisms for every bank heist movie that all follow the same basic premises as each other. I just did it a bit weird why so many people are against this particular trope. Is it because it tries to deal with our history of oppression and colonisation? I honestly don’t know.

I doubt there are any truly original stories that couldn’t be shown to be a retelling of another. I would even argue that some genres wouldn’t exist if this wasn’t a thing.

  • I called the fire brigade when I was about 4 years old. I thought it was a toy phone so I dialed 999 (I’m in the UK) and said there was a fire in a guest I could see from my window. I was mortified when the fire brigade arrived at the house asking if anyone had called as they’d been looking fit a guest fire in the area.

I think I evened it all out when I found smoke in our living room at age 6 and alerted my parents. I thought they were cooking sausages but a log had rolled out onto the carpet and the fire officer said I probably saved the house.

I felt guilty about the first case for decades. B but you have to forgive yourself. Also, out doesn’t matter what you did. Your parents divorce is not your responsibility. Whether what you did triggered it or not, their relationship clearly wasn’t strong if it broke so easily and it probably works have before for other reasons anyway.
