Preserving is important, sure. But if the settlement required them to delete it and they keep an offline backup and this ever gets out, the settlement is voided and it opens up a world of hurt for them.

I’m glad to hear this. Some weeks ago I was pondering how to do age checks anonymously and this was pretty much the idea I came up with. It just makes a lot more sense because it does what you want without revealing anything private.

I know several people who watch everything on some iptv website for free. It’s one of those that bombard you with a dozen popup ads and ad overlays. It doesn’t require any technical knowledge to (eventually) get it to play and you can watch what you want to. 96% seems a bit high, but it is really common. By looking at it from a larger perspective. You can always get worked up about things but if you zoom out, you see that most of it is just a temporary trend. Some things trend well, some trend poorly, but these tend to be blips in the span of a lifetime.

Especially when comparing with the past you will see that things really aren’t all that bad in general.
