It was just a thought I had in the shower. I’m not particularly fond of AI’s impact on the environment or how it was decided for me that I need it on all of my tech. I get and understand where the dislike is. The hate is not isolated to lemmy. I don’t think it’s proportional to other issues in people’s lives or in the world. I don’t know how an individual could ever be at peace if it was. So there’s definitely a big emotional driver to this hate, and emotional minds that negative are easier to grift.

Again it was just a shower thought which is the requisite for this comm.

Moreso the people who can recognize snake oil and think that makes them a pharmacologist.

I don’t know about the other games but it feels kinda disingenuous to plump Ark and Subnautica in the same category as small team indie games.

I literally want to claw my eyes out because of how popular indie rogue-likes are. And that people can argue with a straight face that these are not just as good, but preferred to a big budget game, will forever baffle me. I get that everyone has their own tastes … But it feels like they are taking the piss.

I was circumcised and don’t remember it in the slightest. The pain I went through as an infant has had no negative effects on my life. I have also regrown some of my foreskin slightly. Most partners don’t even know I have a foreskin.

I definitely wouldn’t mind getting that excess removed except for the pain and recovery as an adult and I’m guessing most men who have a foreskin would hesitate for the same reasons. It’s not exactly as elective a cosmetic surgery as an adult as people would make it seem.
