Big business doesn’t have the right to decide that for us.
Big business doesn’t have the right to decide that for us.
It was neutral at best, it was still a conspiracy to reduce choice in the market in a way that was beneficial to them. Yes, the excuse they used was that it prevented people from creating light bulbs that were of poor quality, and had an unpleasant color to them, but it also was profitable for them to do so.
Here’s the video you mentioned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zb7Bs98KmnY
CGP Grey did a video on this subject a little over a decade ago.
Call the fire department, they have detectors that they can use to look for gas leaks and other things that can set off a detector.
You can also call your gas provider. One of those two should be able to track it down, it could be a lot of things, but two different smoke detectors going off in the same location is a huge red flag.
Best case, you have something kicking up fine dust, worst case, you have a smouldering electric fire in your wall somewhere.
Don’t panic, but also do not ignore this.
How do you set this up to forward properly? Do you use different domains for different services? like plex.example.com?
I currently have nginx set up to forward based on port, which is fine for me, but it could be a little better.
In general, technology gets cheaper for better products over time. Short term that’s not always true, but the longer timescales you look, the better is it for consumers.
A year or two is a long time, and probably worth waiting.
Ordering the military to do something illegal is still illegal. The military has an obligation to not follow illegal orders.
That being said, if nobody enforces it, then it doesn’t matter what is illegal or legal.
#1 - What direction are the floor joists running, you would typically run perpendicular to the joists to minimize waviness on the floor.
#2 - You would typically run it longways past the door, so the sun shining in doesn’t go along the board length.
#3 - There’s really no WRONG way to do this, because the LVP flooring doesn’t have much structure to it, and it’ll just follow the contouring of the subfloor. So whatever way you think looks best, go for it.
#4 - If the walls are really out of square, you can also go at a 45 degree angle to hide that. It’ll use up a LOT more flooring, but it also looks pretty cool when it’s all done.
edit: Picture #2 would be the more “right” way to do it, but again, if that’s not what you like, then it’s up to you. Also, not sure if this was just the way you are demonstrating, but you’re also going to want to have a little more randomness in the board ends, don’t have them alternate in a pattern like you have it.
Yes, probably. That being said, I see two immediate consequences to this.
Hiring a hitman is illegal, so the president could still be prosecuted for this. Assuming the House/Senate aren’t complete morons, they would impeach and convict the president.
Once the hitman is pardoned, he would lose his 5th amendment protection. If his testimony couldn’t be used to convict him, then the court could compel testimony against anyone involved. Which would make unraveling the conspiracy slightly easier.
It’s not a KVM though, which is why it’s only $50. It has no video capability.
Kinda looks like this KVM switch is missing the “V” part.
I’m excited that they continue to innovate and listen to customers. I own two Framework laptops, and I’m thrilled that I can easily upgrade to this version without having to replace the whole thing.
Even better that I can replace parts as they wear out, or as I feel. I love the monitor, so no need to replace it now. If it ever gets damaged though, I can grab the upgraded one without changing anything else. If the battery starts to suck, I can update to a higher Wh one.
Such a great product (so far).
Assuming you are talking about hearing protection: I know people that like them, but I wasn’t a big fan. I probably didn’t do it perfectly, but it’s so time consuming and kinda expensive, so I didn’t want to keep trying.
I just use the disposable squish 3m foam earplugs and they do great. Easy to put in, don’t fall out.
There’s already tons of folks that had “that idea” too early. Those technical innovations don’t just need some rando showing up and saying “hey, we should make a plastic disc that stores music MONEY PLEASE!”
The CD was created in collaboration between several companies, creating a technical standard, and working with the limitations of manufacturing and technology of the time. There’s exactly zero chance you would be able to get a jump on them.
I’d bet $3 that there’s tons of patents from people who had a similar enough idea years before it came out, but they never went anywhere. Sony would just see your patent and carefully design the disc to avoid violating it.
Wonder if there’s a trade off with the faster charging, or if it’s just a side effect of the grid power setup.
Saw a neat ESP32 IR blaster on sparkfun. Might try to set it up to control some LED string lights.
Cause you’re talking about reality. We’re not debating on if a movie was good, or if a sandwich is tasty, you’re literally saying that every single scientist in the whole world is conspiring to trick you into thinking something happened.
This isn’t an opinion, it’s a 100% absolute fact that humans have set foot on the moon.
The number of people who would have to be in on the conspiracy would be astronomical. You are wrong, and you are intentionally spreading misinformation. It would take you less than an afternoon to learn the truth, but you are going out of your way to remain ignorant.
Or, the perfectly mundane truth, which is that it actually happened.
If you sincerely believe what you posted in there, then you’re obviously not looking for the actual truth. You’re just being contrarian for the sake of it.
I use portainer, but I don’t think I ever gave them my information. How would they even have my email?
