What? Have you never seen the Mighty Mighty Bosstones? You can definitely get legitimate (plaid) pants. Probably not flannel not sure that matters here if the pattern is what you have in mind.

I don’t think I ever burned a DVD (did rip some), but was making copies of my CDs for use in my car up to about 2010 before I got into the mp3 player game. Then it was just ripping. Still would be ripping, but no longer have a drive for that. That computer ate it a few years ago. I should have been more proactive. Maybe will borrow the one from work that has a Jimmy Buffet disc in it.

Not sure how much this will help you, but my house is heated by electric wall heaters like this with unit-mounted thermostats. I recently installed a real thermostat for the one in the main room, by using this relay that I wired with a three wire 24 volt off the shelf loom like this that I bought by the foot from the closest to me store. You could use a smart thermostat unlike me. I used this site for help but mine is 120v. That link, tho, is for a 240v and may be more helpful.

Importantly, I have a background in electric (DC) and access to folks with household electric.

Anyway, what you want isn’t hard and can be done safely and easily. But if you are not an electrician, it is best to us a contractor. My heat is on a dedicated circuit, yours should be, too.

Would this not just be suicide? Linguistically, this would be “you,” but “you” would be “me.” It’s even weirder than talking about oneself in third person… IMO.

I don’t think these politicians are thinking about this, but some of these safety features really are masking the lack of driving skill in the US.

This was the main reason my mom’s side didn’t pass language down. Not even food! Just assimilate 🤷‍♂️ But they were peasants in a new country so best to make it work in the easiest way possible. It sounds like OP has it pretty rough 🙁

I have this exact feeling when “discussing” this topic with folks that believe a country should be run as a business. It’s so misguided! People are residents, not employees, and they shouldn’t be able to be fired by the country they are living in. This “firing” does seem to be happening in the US right now, tho 👎
