Meh. I pondered this but leaving it helps users still using the platform.

For Macs: I use Time Machine backups on unraid (nothing fancy but it has built in settings to support it effortlessly). There’s also https://hub.docker.com/r/mbentley/timemachine that I tried out a year ago.

I haven’t tried over vpn but as long as you can mount the share , it should be fine.

The community documentation is really good; this makes it super easy to find out how to do something or fix an issue. Adding a drive is super easy , and doesn’t require all the drives to be the same size, you can mix and match. It also supports docker on top of all of that. If you’re willing to manage all of that yourself from scratch , then I doubt you’d like it. It’s convenient for most people that don’t want to spend a lot of time managing and troubleshooting their nas.

I guess I’m not understanding why that wouldn’t happen here or any other instance in the future.

Lemmy is more or less a Reddit clone , at least in how users interact with the site/apps. The more people migrate, the more this will happen. Admittedly, that’s why I’m here but I’m not sure what you mean by upholding Reddit standards. Reddit was/is community operated and minus reddits moderation, the users here will shape the future of the site regardless of the instance in the same way. Subs get too big , and create more serious or niche ones, until those get too big.

/r/gaming and r/games come to mind as an example

I feel like min maxing ruins it a lot. You don’t have to use someone else’s build. If I find a legendary aspect , I’ll try it and see how good it feels and it evolves over time. The game in part is the grind, the renown , etc. you have plenty of side quests, events , world bosses , etc. I feel like that’s Diablo that hasn’t even had it’s first season yet.

It can be? Not that it’s hard to read , but I felt it was harder to determine exact speeds in my last car. Am I going 41 of 40, 35 or 33. It’s not that big of a deal but I don’t really have that problem with digital.

Analog is occupied by speeds you will never use. 80 to 260 is useless to be and practically a waste of space for consumer cars.

I’ve been having a blast. The game is beautiful, the gameplay is nice , and it’s really fun experimenting with different builds. The only monetization really is skins and the battlepass (not out yet). You can ignore these and not notice you’re missing out.

That said if you didn’t like 3 I doubt you’d like 4. D3 was my first Diablo game but this is the first game I’ve put so many hours in. I find the gameplay loop a lot of fun and this gets amplified with friends. Too bad there isn’t a trial or something you can demo the game with.
