First off, just get neovim installed on your system. If you have a Mac (or Linux) and Homebrew installed, you can just do
brew install neovim.Once you get it installed, the way that helped me get used to it the most was literally the built-in
vimtutor. You can find out more info about it by typing:help vimtutor, and if you just want to run it, you can type:Tutor. It really helps you get the hang of moving around and doing cool shit in (n)vim.I also really enjoyed this Vim adventure game, and it definitely helped me learn more of the tricks: https://vim-adventures.com/
Once you get used to it, you’re gonna love it and there’s no going back!

1·4 months agoJust enable it in the BIOS, then make sure the network card has it enabled in Device Manager, and it works like magic (packets).
I’ve been doing it since before the Steam Deck came out, and I just enabled WoL, so the computer sleeps until I open Moonlight and try to access it, then it wakes up. Same with local LLM processing.

In fairness, that was the initial plan for RealID - to have RFID chips in each one; however, that plan has since been axed in all but maybe 2 states, I think.
I enjoyed The Force Awakens, but the other two I enjoyed more for just cool individual scenes (lightsaber boat battle, etc) than the movies themselves.

I don’t know how he comes up with his ideas, but they are all pretty phenomenal and novel. Great channel to subscribe to for some creative fuel every once in a while!
If you don’t want to worry about latency/etc - you should consider doing it with lasers 😈.
