I like both games, but my playtime says I prefer Minecraft 😆 I think I like it because it’s kinda boring.

Terraria is a lot of fun, yes, but I don’t feel like I can simply exist in that world, I have to play there. Whereas in Minecraft I can more easily just chill, get kinda bored, just walk around looking at stuff and think…

I like how tranquil and slow Minecraft can be. It doesn’t feel like a game so much as an other world I have access to. I like that it leaves me alone with my thoughts.

Hopefully you love enough different things that you can do some of them for work, and some of them as hobbies.

Skill is (almost) a linear function of time spent.

Want to get better at something ? Just do it more. Learning about it can increase the factor, but it won’t actually increase skill directly.
