Yeah at least with their parts lists the material cost is ~$134. So even the places selling kits for $150 are offering a pretty good deal for putting it all in a box for you. ( I assume they’re able to make some savings buying in bulk but still)

Yes, a return to the unstructured hellscape glory of unranked comments of yesteryear. Every thread starting with a resounding “First!!1!!”. Relevant or interesting things hidden on page 5 of 31. Spam lurking around every corner, as a treat.

It disables scrolling. I’m sure there’s a use case but mostly it’s annoying. I don’t think every program/OS respects it anymore either.

RSS feeds are so nice. I’m still frustrated that Facebook moved away from an in-order timeline. (Or would be if I used it for anything other than family chats)

Technique yes, technology I would question.

Wireless keyboards go to sleep and can disconnect. Modern ones are sometimes smart/quick enough to send the first keypress but older ones less so. Also if the computer’s off spamming caps lock won’t turn on the light and let you know to hit the power button.

Practice the basics, get it right. Don’t try to go faster for the sake of going faster, you’ll hit your limit and get sloppy and pickup bad habits. Test your limits to learn them, but don’t hit them every time. Get comfortable within them and the goal posts will move.

Is your home connection down that much? I’d think that even syncing once every day or so would populate everything fine, and if you’re at home it should update over wifi.

I might just be spoiled because I’m the only one using mine and only for a handful of devices.

I heard of a really cool project awhile ago where they were proudly sparing no expense. Hopefully nothing went wrong.

Also you generally want the most financially prudent decision a business can make not to be “sit on the money until it’s worth more”.

I do feel like the Stormtooper point got lost on Lucas too by RotJ honestly. In Empire they do pretty good except when they’re, again, explicitly trying to lure the hero into a trap. RotJ has the most weirdness of the originals and probably the most EU ‘redemptions’/revisions. With stuff like “here’s what was really up with the Ewoks”, Boba not dying, etc.

Also most of the early Christian sects who believed either this or “no marriage/children until the second coming” died out. Either literally or they got absorbed into Catholicism as various orders.
