Yeah, but as you said, it is highly dependent on the implementation. Theoretically it is possible that the user is also seeding the previously downloaded/streamed chunk (via WebRTC for example if using a browser). That reminds me of a madlad that stores data on a ping packet (see suckerpinch channel on youtube, specifically his video titled “Harder Drive”)
Yeah, a fair point
Just as a heads up, sometimes the pattern is not that easy for computer to brute force. As an example, my old password contains a birth date but with an alternating shift making them a combination of digit and symbol.
I see. I’ve skimmed the docs and indeed see that it supports a lot of IDP with what looks to me some env var. And thanks for answering another question of what their auth library is since that is a lot to support.
…can you post your monitor setup?
IIRC, even KDE and their whole suite of apps are dwarfed by the LOC count of browser (forgot if it is firefox or chromium)
I am his distant cousin

Why do we have teachers then? Listening and watching is absolutely a valid strategy of learning. You just need to make sure that the speakers are trustworthy on the subject.
The one that passes could be the next shot and OP is too panicked to hear the second bang.
…timestamp is signed? Why?
Edit: Oh damn, I never noticed that the timestamp is indeed signed. For anyone curious, it is mostly historical as early C didn’t really have a concept of unsigned
Damn, I imagine how you would try to imagine a higher dimensional construct.
I do have a vivid imagination, but when I imagine doing something disgusting voluntarily I can anticipate it. Not so much when I imagine it from hearing or reading a story and in the middle of imagining things.
Yeah exactly why I said that it is my opinion. But it is not just for PCB assembly, a mechanical assembly too if you only have the mechanical drawings will be quite hard to edit. To me, the ability to easily modify and redistribute something is what makes it open source. If you can only replicate something without the right to modify it then it is just source available.
The problem from the article is that the GPL was violated and somewhere downstream the user demanded they fix something to upstream. Being that downstream has modification without being published (my assumption on the GPL violation, either found due to inconsistent bug reproduction or other), the author is understandably upset.
